We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a proven track record in qualifying leads and setting appointments in the software sales industry. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in our sales team by identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to drive revenue growth.

Location: Remote, hybrid, or in Landau in der Pfalz
Your Tasks
  • Lead Qualification -  Utilize various channels, including inbound inquiries, marketing campaigns, and targeted prospecting, to identify and qualify potential leads for the sales team. Employ effective strategies to assess prospects' needs, pain points, and buying potential
  • Prospecting and Outreach -  Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communication methods to engage with prospects and initiate conversations. Employ persuasive and consultative selling techniques to educate prospects about our software solutions and generate interest in scheduling appointments
  • Appointment Setting -  Schedule high-quality appointments and demos for account executives. Utilize your understanding of prospects' needs to create compelling value propositions
  • Relationship Building -  Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales process. Continuously engage with prospects to understand their evolving needs, answer their questions, address concerns, and provide relevant information to facilitate the sales cycle
  • CRM Management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, lead statuses, and relevant information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Ensure data integrity and use CRM reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Market Research - Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and target market dynamics. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and enhance our positioning in the market
  • Collaboration - Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, and product teams. Provide valuable insights based on prospect interactions to improve campaigns and product offerings
Your Profile
  • Experience - Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role in software sales. Demonstrated success in qualifying leads, setting appointments, and exceeding targets
  • Knowledge - Sound understanding of the software sales process, lead generation techniques, and qualification methodologies. Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other sales enablement technologies
  • Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German. Ability to articulate complex software concepts and value propositions clearly and concisely
  • Persuasive Selling - Proven ability to employ consultative and persuasive selling techniques to build rapport, overcome objections, and drive prospects toward appointments. Strong negotiation and objection handling skills
  • Self-Motivation - Highly self-driven and results-oriented. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines
  • Team Player - Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams. Ability to share insights, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Adaptability - Ability to adapt to evolving sales strategies, market dynamics, and product offerings. Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices
