As a Power BI Expert at AUVESY-MDT, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our SaaS BI product, which leverages the Power BI platform to deliver insightful data visualizations and analytics to our clients. As a member of a multidisciplinary Scrum team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Power BI data models, designing interactive dashboards, and ensuring the seamless integration of Power BI components into our application.

Salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications, with a salary range of €60,000 to €80,000 annually. Final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's level of experience, skills, and fit for the role.

Your Tasks

Power BI Modeling: Design and develop efficient Power BI data models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and optimal performance.
Dashboard/Report Creation: Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to end-users.
Power BI Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in the Power BI platform, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded.
Data Integration: Collaborate with our development team to integrate Power BI components seamlessly into our SaaS BI product.
Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure a smooth user experience.
Data Transformation: Transform and clean data from various sources to make it suitable for analysis and reporting in Power BI.
Lifecycle Management: Control the complete lifecycle of datasets and reports from conception to deployment in the production environments.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power BI solutions, data models, and best practices for the team.
User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues to ensure they can effectively use Power BI for their reporting and analytics needs.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience as a Power BI Expert with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects.
Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI Embedded.
Strong data modeling skills and knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Experience with data visualization best practices and design principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of SQL and data warehouse concepts is a plus. We use snowflake and dbt as our infrastructure.
