Role Overview
The Field Marketing Specialist will support the planning, development, and execution of regional marketing initiatives designed to generate opportunities within AMDT's target industries, specifically in our DACH territory. Serving as the key point of contact for Field Marketing in the assigned region, this role involves close collaboration with the local Sales Team to align marketing efforts and plans with sales objectives and territories. By understanding the unique characteristics of sales territories, the Field Marketing Specialist will effectively execute initiatives aimed at achieving lead generation and pipeline goals.
Your Tasks
  • Execute targeted regional marketing plans that integrate marketing programs with regional opportunities, including field events, online events, trade shows, industry associations, digital campaigns, and local PR activities to generate leads, build the sales pipeline and accelerate opportunities for the field.
  • Support outbound and inbound marketing initiatives, including content creation and 3rd party promotion, digital campaigns, lead generation, and event execution.
  • Collaborate with vendors to implement promotional events and campaigns, managing the production of major marketing materials by liasing with printers, sponsors and other stakeholders.
  • Plan, execute, and manage co-marketing initiatives and campaigns in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Team and the (global) Marketing Team.
  • Assist in managing and implementing demand creation and lead generation activities to develop qualified sales leads and enhance brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report on field marketing program performance against sales and demand generation objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and update reports, spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with relevant statistical, financial, and non-financial information.
  • Conduct vendor evaluations and market research to support marketing initiatives.
Your Profile
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B Marketing, Field Marketing, Events Management, ideally for a tech or industrial software company
  • Advanced business proficiency in German and English
  • Proven track record of executing successful marketing events and campaigns in DACH territory
  • Demonstrated success in achieving lead generation and pipeline creation targets
  • Understanding of B2B marketing strategies, particularly in industrial automation or software solutions.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing marketing plans, marketing communication, and digital campaigns.
  • Highly organized and proven project management skills including ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and set priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
Nice to have
  • Experience in industrial automation or B2B software industries.
  • Practical knowledge of Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking, reporting, and optimizing marketing initiatives.
