Role Overview
We’re looking for a key position for a strategically minded Product Owner with strong technical expertise in software development for our product Octoplant. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the product vision and actively drive its evolution in close collaboration with customers, product management, and the development team. You'll take ownership of the entire product development lifecycle, with the product backlog and feature roadmap as your primary tools.
Your Tasks
  • Take overall responsibility for maximizing the value of our central OT data management solution.
  • Collaborate closely with software development, product management, support teams, and customers
  • Gather, assess, and prioritize stakeholder requirements to align with the product roadmap
  • Introduce and champion new technologies, trends, and innovations.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of product releases.
  • Ensure the product meets high quality and security standards.
Your Profile
  • At least 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment
  • Interest in—and ideally experience with—automation and control systems within OT environments
  • Deep familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Solid technical foundation, particularly in software development and in server-client architecture, container architecture (e.g., Docker), microservice and cloud service architecture 
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and communication abilities
  • Analytical mindset with strong conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to abstract stakeholder needs into a clear vision and actionable work packages
  • Skilled in leveraging OKRs and KPIs to assess performance and inform decision-making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills at all levels, fluency in English and German
