Key Account Manager (m/f/d)
Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in customer‑facing environments, enjoys developing long‑term relationships, and is eager to expand key accounts while contributing to new business growth.
Your Tasks
- Manage and expand relationships with key customers in strategic regions
- Build trust‑based relationships across relevant stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for account growth, including cross‑sell and upsell initiatives
- Support the development and execution of account plans in collaboration with senior sales leadership
- Identify and engage potential new customers within manufacturing and critical infrastructure sectors
- Conduct targeted outbound prospecting and handle inbound leads efficiently
- Contribute to pipeline development, qualification, and deal progression throughout the sales cycle
- Deliver product presentations and solution overviews (remote and on‑site)
- Articulate value propositions related to OT security, cybersecurity, cyber risk, automation, and digital transformation
- Stay informed about market trends and competitive offerings to position AMDT effectively
- Work closely with Marketing, Presales, and Product teams
- Ensure a smooth and positive customer experience across all touchpoints
- Share customer insights to support product enhancements and go‑to‑market initiatives
Your Profile
- 3–5+ years of B2B SaaS sales or account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience working with customers in industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors (Automotive, Food & Beverage, Pharma)
- Proven success in managing and growing key accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Comfortable presenting solutions to both technical and business stakeholders
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Ability to leverage AI‑based tools to improve productivity and analysis
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
Nice to have
- Familiarity with OT environments, cybersecurity, or GRC processes is a plus
- Exposure to security frameworks (e.g., NIS2, NIST, IEC 62443, CRA)
- Experience in a start‑up or scale‑up environment
